American Bald Eagles continue to be on the comeback along the Northern California Coast. Moments after one of its parents flew away from this seasoned tree, this youngster remained firmly on its limb as winds blew directly on shore near the Del Norte Redwoods near Wilson Creek (north of Klamath, CA).

Action continues through the night as boat after boat pass back and forth through the Crescent City Harbor to reload their decks with crab pots off the piers. Once reloaded, they head back out to sea and set the next line of crab pots to catch the sweet tasting Dungeness Crab from fishing grounds off the California Coast.
Dungeness Crab Fisherman settled on a price with buyers on the North Coast Fisheries in California. Crabbers have been laying pots all day and are working throughout the night to lay out their crab pot lines along the coast line. Once they lay a line of pots, it’s back to port to reload the boats with more. This will go on all night until all the lines are laid out for the season.
